Event: Acquisition & Earning Power, Day 2
Topic: Many researchers would like to spend all their time doing research and teaching in their specialist field. At the same time, there is a growing concern about how to finance this research. Not only are researchers expected to excel, they also have to apply entrepreneurial qualities in order to achieve their goals, and they need to have some knowledge of the complex funding landscape, with its many rules and conditions. In this training course, we combine personal aspects and theoretical knowledge. We focus on the personal profile of the participants: their qualities and areas for improvement. In addition, the training provides information about various funding possibilities.
The programme thus combines three important elements: personal perspective, content-related knowledge and, most importantly, the best practices of fellow researchers.
